On the 16th, Osaka Prefecture and City concluded a basic agreement with Osaka IR Co., Ltd. regarding the development of the Osaka IR area. Osaka IR Co., Ltd. is a corporation established by Japan MGM Resorts and Orix at the end of 2021, with 20 companies including Suntory and Panasonic investing. Osaka Prefecture and City will jointly apply with Osaka IR Co., Ltd. by April to apply for the national zone certification review, and if Osaka is selected, an IR will open in Yumeshima from the end of 2029 to around 2030.
