And just five days after the election, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism approved Osaka's IR development plan.

However, due to issues such as the soil problem in Yumeshima and the construction period after the Expo, it is expected to open between the fall of 2029 and the spring of 2030.
