Fukuoka IR concept progresses, US Bally's enters Japan
A local economic information site reported that American Bally's has submitted a proposal for an IR basic plan to the mayor of Fukuoka and economic organizations regarding IR in Fukuoka, which has been moving behind the scenes. The business plan calls for a total construction cost of 480 billion yen and annual sales of 249.5 billion yen. The location of the attraction has not been revealed, but it is believed to be Uminonakamichi, a coastal resort area in the northern part of Fukuoka City, which has been a strong candidate.
Bally's is a gaming company headquartered in Rhode Island, USA, which operates 14 casinos in 10 states and sportsbet in 14 states. Bally's in Las Vegas is owned by and is not affiliated with Caesars.
